Home Office announce changes to Health and Care Worker visa route from 11th March 2024
As recently announced by the Home Office, individuals migrating to the UK under the Health and Care Worker visa route will no longer be able to sponsor dependants (partners and children) on their visa from 11th March 2024.
It is important to note that the Home Office have recently published a factsheet on net migration measures that confirms that that the proposed change will NOT affect Care Workers (Occupation Code 6145) or Senior Care Workers (Occupation Code 6146) who are already in the UK under the Health and Care Worker visa route prior to 11th March 2024 but have not yet applied to sponsor their dependants.
First Tier Visas UK are on hand and available to support you in relation to your applications. We will use our expertise and experience to guide you through the application process seamlessly from start to finish. We are also available to provide guidance and advice to registered Home Office sponsors who are seeking to sponsor workers under the Health and Care Worker visa route.
We encourage all potential applicants who are able to do so to get their applications submitted to the Home Office as soon as possible in order to avoid falling foul of the new rule changes.
Please get in touch today to arrange an initial consultation to discuss your circumstances in further detail.
